Every time I really look at Drafting Mono I see more charming bits. My favorite so far is the bottom half of the lower case "g". Wonderful! I also like that each end of the "c" curve is different, that the cross bar ( technical term, I'm sure) of the lower case "t" is off center, and that the lower case "r" reminds me of a small bathroom sink faucet. I'm sure you weren't going for that but that's what I see and I love it. One puzzling thing for me is the "f" in the middle of the word ,"drafting". It feels taller than it should. I'm sure it's an illusion because it isn't true when it is at the beginning of a word's endlessly fascinating.
@owen
This recording worked really well. Thanks for sticking with it.
@Leo perfect choice! Happy anniversary, you two!
@ChrisFerris I love those together

I was just rereading a long letter I had written to someone and felt eye strain in doing so. When I looked at Drafting Mono Testing my eyes relaxed and it was so easy to read. I suppose that has to do with the size of it but also the space between letters. I like the tilt to the right and am charmed by the lower case i, in particular. First impressions

Asparagus and ? Yummy looking sauce.
@Leo
How great! I'm delighted that you're headed back to writing and what a wonderful idea to get you started. It is a real treat to read your voice again. Go, go, go!

@owen
Three cheers for you and Bodoni!
@owen
Yea! Let's hear it for bonache!
@owen
Wow! It seems you have found the creative sweet spot. Songs are flowing out fast. I have listened to the whole album a few times and it really moves me. Forward!
PS I also listened on the computer instead of my phone. Huge difference in quality. Duh.
I put it on the album.
Shortest time between concept and something finished.

I don't know what to name the song please suggest things much love
@owen
I'd love to hear the new version. I have no idea what else is coming on the album but my first thought about this song is it seems more a closer than an opener. The first couple are quiet and sad. The new one is more a"buck up, you're ok" song, you're having troubles but you're ok so give yourself a break.
@owen
I just wrote my response and then accidentally erased it. Meanwhile Grampy came in and we discovered we had two different interpretations of the words. Interesting. My thought was I felt the new song was slightly more upbeat than the others, in message I mean, but that maybe it was good to have a slight variation in mood. I think Grampy had other thoughts about the music itself, something that I wouldn't have picked up on. What's your idea for the whole album?
@owen Are you referring to the photo? If so I think the photo suggests a slant on the content that I don't think you intend. A more neutral cover might let listeners hear the lyrics with their own filters.
@ChrisFerris
That certainly is gorgeous and dramatic.
@ChrisFerris
Ahh, love.
