Baking is all about chemistry so your choices are important. Improv doesn't work as well in baking as in cooking. Sounds like you are figuring it out.

I seem to be missing a step. How do I get my messages to reflect to whom I am responding?

The main dough ball looks great but the bagels are losing something. Maybe the holes are too big. Are these different than your first batch? Red and green wouldn't tempt me.
