So great spending time with Leo this weekend. It's been an astonishing year, and he's met his challenges with grace and style and creativity. And love. Above all, love. I want to say I'm proud of him, but that feels like I'm trying to take too much credit. I didn't get him where he is, I just had the privilege of sitting next to him while he drove. Happy birthday, Old Man. Enjoy the last year of your teens!
I also really like the Voyage EP. I've made a playlist of both albums and have it on repeat, playing out to the void all night long...
@owen Listen to this through a few times tonight. It's so beautiful and sad, it brings me to the edge of tears a few times. First Day of School wells up in me and I have to look hard out the window to keep my composure. And the Gun quote always catches me off guard. So many feelings. Feel very far away from you, especially after getting to spend some time with Leo. You are both beautiful boys and I am very proud to be your father. And long for the day we can be together again. Being ridiculous at Cheesecake Factory late at night.

@Baba I'm supposed to restrict my angles of rotation. Basically no more than 30 degrees in any plane for two weeks, then up to 60, then up to 90, then start PT. I have been using the arm more than I should because it's been feeling pretty good, but I'm putting it at risk.
Got the staples pulled out of my shoulder today. Doctor scolded me for pushing too hard too soon, so I have to try to scale back a bit. Risk of stretching it out too soon and then it becomes unstable and then it pops out and then I have to go back in for another surgery.
