My friends threw me a surprise party today! It was a much needed break from the stress of this week and a great way to end my time in KC.

Got added to the Simon's Rock staff and Faculty Directory

For my Piano final, I had to record myself playing 3 songs I've worked on this semester. It's by all means not perfect, but I've come a long way since my first lesson!

Final day: stage managed the invited scene showcase and attended the closing ceremonies! I got to see 10 shows this week and attended at least that many workshops if not more. I'm very grateful for getting the opportunity to attend this conference, it was worth every second!

Day 5: Stage Crew Olympics, 2 more shows (Alabaster and Stupid Fucking Bird), one workshop, an interview with the Santa Fe Opera Company, and LGBTQ+ game night

Realizing I should probably put the names of the shows I've been going to incase anyone's interested. Here's the ones I've seen so far:
Day 2: an Iliad, Life is a Dream
Day 3: The Adivina is Never Wrong, Wounded Healers
Day 4: God of Carnage, Carrie the musical

If you'll notice, they've been loading in and out entire shows every single day in 3 separate locations. Crazy stuff.

Day 3: the designers and management expo opened to the public (my book was displayed on a table for anyone to look through). Two more shows, one workshop, and my interview, I think it went well!

Day 1: getting settled into my home for the week + one of the theatre spaces. If I manage to get (free) tickets to each show I want to see, I will get to watch 11 performances this week!

My very own IMBD page! This is from the work I did on the short film a few months ago. The final product is complete and as soon as it's public, I'll share it all with you.

It only took Baba bullying me twice but here it is (not in any particular order except the first one is a priority)
-Money for registration to the Kennedy center American college theatre region 5 festival + a hotel (I think they have a discount on hotels so it might be around $230 total)
-Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat cookbook
-A new lense for my camera (25mm-55mm)
-Warm and soft winter clothes
-Microwavable lavender pillow
-Soft (not fuzzy) pajama pants
-Soft, oversized t shirts (for sleeping in)
-two fold wallet with an id window on the inside (preferably not a separate panel)

I've really been enjoying learning the piano this semester! Today I recorded my first duet and I thought I'd share it with you guys. I know its not very complicated but considering I was struggling with playing a 3rd at the beginning of the semester, I feel accomplished. (Also sorry you can't see us very well, I'm the one with green sleeves)
